Dornase alfa in DMD

Postby neutronico » Thu Dec 29, 2016 11:05 pm

In cases with high secretion and no signs of infection (such as clear or white sputum), is it appropriate to treat it by nebulizing with Dornase alfa?

No. In fact, nebulizing it is only likely to increase the secretions further. Positioning is the better strategy.
