I use nasal NVS for sleep, but my nose is stubbornly congested and the air is not getting in. What can I do?

You can use pseudoephedrine during the day and pseudoephedrine with a mild antihistaminic before sleep (e.g. Actifed) unless your local doctor has told you that there is some reason why you should not do so. If this is not adequate, call your home care company to switch you from nasal to an oral (Lipseal) or oronasal interface for CNVS via the mouth or nose+mouth rather than via the nose alone. If there is no time for this, then you must go to the hospital.
Remember that MIE not only clears the airways, but also can clear the nose too.
Also, chronic nasal congestion can be from inadequate humidification during sleep, so a heated humidifier with nasal NVS might solve the problem too.
